What Does The Bridging Course Cover?
You’ll start by learning about DNA structure and replication, including the DNA synthesis mechanism, the replication process and DNA repair methods. You’ll learn about the cell cycle, how dysregulation can lead to cancer and how chemotherapy works. Then, you’ll get introductions to microbiology, including bacterial structure and antibiotics, and pharmacology, looking at how receptors can be activated or deactivated and more. In the final session, you’ll get an overview of Medical School life and exams.
