Each Interview Bootcamp session will last two hours, and take place online from 5pm – 7pm

Day

What’s covered?

Day 1:

You’ll explore panel, MMI and Oxbridge interviews; look at your interview technique; discuss how to answer Medical School-specific questions and prepare to say why you want to apply to a certain university

Day 2:

You’ll prepare to answer questions about your motivation to study Medicine, and your understanding of what the career entails

Day 3:

You’ll work on your understanding and experience of teamwork, and how you can talk about this with your work experience. You’ll also go through personal attributes and how these come into play during interviews

Day 4:

You’ll talk about medical ethics and review the dilemma questions you may be asked. You’ll also look at questions on situational judgement, ranking, professionalism and your knowledge of the NHS

Day 5:

You’ll role-play MMI scenarios and look at how empathy and communication skills are assessed, then explore MMI-style and Oxbridge-style problem solving questions
