re-sits?

Which medical schools accept re-sits?

I ask because the TMP lists St George’s and Cardiff as accepting re-sits but in fact, they do not, unless there are extenuating circumstances, (not even in one subject even if it is the ‘3rd’ subject ie even if it’s not Chemistry or Biology)

Hi there,

Thank you for your question!

Our resit policy page has taken info from the med school websites themselves:

Hope this helps! 🙂

Yes, but when phoned directly, these two medical schools expressly stated that they did NOT consider re-sits unless there were extenuating circumstances. All 3 A levels (A2s) had to be taken in one sitting and AAA achieved at that sitting.
